I used to toss a list of just kewl links up here every Friday. It is, more or less, just stuff I found in my feeds on my short lunches this week.

• I am not even 100 % sure what all this Steampunk stuff is about but look at this awesomely kewl paper Steampunk war machine over at flickr.
• An Arazona man has left the hospital with a Total Artificial Heart
• Boing! Boing! has a video of about the Hackers on Planet Earth (HOPE) release RFID badge API
• From Download Squad, Google is releasing a list of the 1000 largest web site
• So, some guy encourages people to commit suicide at suicide help sites is banned from the Internet and some people think it is harsh.
• From MAKE magazine, a nine minute video of a DIY Rocketship! ( I took good notes and will warn you all before my first launch.. hehe)
• From The Huntington Post, a video of a baby getting hit by a train, some how only suffering minor abrasions and contusions?
• From Talk Nerdy to Me Lover, the largest amount of coinage you can have and not make change for a dollar

Thanks to laaatech.com for tweeting this list of Top Ten YouTube Fail Videos. I really thought ski jump fail was rigged but funny as Hades.

I think many of the videos should come with a "don't try this at home" warning but, ironically, that is exactly what we are watching. Also check out "How not to wash a car" and tell me the parking fail is real...

Nonetheless, a good 15 minute funny distraction.

This Yahoo Odd News Article is pretty good. Seems at first the cashier didn't take the robber seriously. He did fork over his empty wallet when confronted with a box cutter.

• A good friend of mine live in North Pole, Alaska. You think it is cold by you? Check out this video!
• Amy Gahran tweeted about this point of view on the future of newspapers. With that in mind is it such a good idea to build the libraries I mentioned above?
