I used to toss a list of just kewl links up here every Friday. It is, more or less, just stuff I found in my feeds on my short lunches this week.

• I am not even 100 % sure what all this Steampunk stuff is about but look at this awesomely kewl paper Steampunk war machine over at flickr.
• An Arazona man has left the hospital with a Total Artificial Heart
• Boing! Boing! has a video of about the Hackers on Planet Earth (HOPE) release RFID badge API
• From Download Squad, Google is releasing a list of the 1000 largest web site
• So, some guy encourages people to commit suicide at suicide help sites is banned from the Internet and some people think it is harsh.
• From MAKE magazine, a nine minute video of a DIY Rocketship! ( I took good notes and will warn you all before my first launch.. hehe)
• From The Huntington Post, a video of a baby getting hit by a train, some how only suffering minor abrasions and contusions?
• From Talk Nerdy to Me Lover, the largest amount of coinage you can have and not make change for a dollar

• This is eerie but very interesting. I would be afraid if this cat curled up next to me.
• Well it seems that those of you who think pot never hurt you might actually be psychotic. (I also have to wonder how they eliminate the stat that those with psychological issues are more likely to use drugs. Is it a symptom or a pre-disposing factor?)
• There has been some success with computers learning baby talk

I am not exactly the most "normal " person in the world but the fate of such would rather bore me. This is piece of work should serve to prove that point. It is actually an essay I wrote for a class assignment.

So I am rather comfortable with " not being normal " . After all if I were such, what part of that .5 dog would I own? Safe to bet, I would not get the better end of the deal. Most people my age are more concerned with their house, and car payments, than I am.

I tend to dwell in the more abstract and bizarre frets and worries. For example, how much is one million or one billion? I am well aware that these are rather large numbers but how can I get a handle on them?
