Back with a New Look

They say this is the ugliest dog in the world. I think it looks like a pet hell boy would have. Here are a few more "dog gone" links:

  • Here is a bad dogie story
  • If every vote does count, does this mean the world, like this blog post, has gone to the dogs?

Is this for real? Microsoft was distributing Ubuntu? And if that is the case, how should we take this?

I found this over at digg. Look at this photo for a few seconds and see if you can see what the problem is.

I can't resist this one. Don't we all wish we could have seen this?

I found this one via Digg. It is a great little piece of writing. If an Architects had To Work Like Webb Designers. Frank Lloyd Wright would have been challenged.

I know I say this often here but you gotta see this! There is another clip that I think is even funnier.

This one reminds me of the Cheech and Chong Movie, Up in Smoke - 1 ton of Pot Burn in warehouse Fire

Another one from Digg, Pentagon Admits E-mail has been Hacked!

One more link, check out this NASA Image of the Day.

More from Boing Boing

I have noticed that a lot of my readers are digging on the things I find at Boing Boing. With out saying anything further, here are a few things from Boing Boing:

  • Scientist with too much time on their hands create a nanoscale map of the Americas. The few hairs left on my head are thicker than the map is wide. It is DNA origami!
  • This is kewl. Eight Graders have built a gymnasium roller coaster. I wonder if the administration is going to let them actually ride it.
  • This squid would make a whole lot of sushi!
  • This guy is capitalizing on the patent happy world. A humor site inspired by patents; Patently Silly
  • I know my landlord would kill me if I did this to my fridge but it is soooo kewl I am tempted
  • One of the reasons I enjoy Boing Boing is because they have a good mix of both fun material and real news and geekness. This is on e example of real news. Japan is making older electronic instruments illegal?
  • This is an example of the geek prowness of the staff. Open source mp3 player Firmware
  • I mentioned what scientist are doing with DNA but look at this creation with eggs
  • Did you ever wonder what happened to PacMan?
  • Last but not least... Did you ever want to shoot the alarm clock?

Another Use for AOL CD's

I like to take this techno-junk mail and pop it in the microwave for few seconds. The lightning storm is pretty kewl and it leaves a neat texture on the CD. I then put them in a CD Spindle in my living room where they are used as coasters.

This throne tops that one. I am gonna have to save a lot of AOL CD's to add it to my living room.

Again, kudos to Boing Boing for the link.

Web 2.0 Backlash?

This is just funny Isolatr, an anti-social web seb site. I have got to try the IM beta.

"With IMolatr you are always listed as away and, if people try and contact you IMolatr will actually set their hands on fire!"

Sounds like a kewl feature to me! Be sure and read the FAQs

For those of you who wish to disconnect, this is your solution.

Kudos to Boing Boing for this gem of a find!

Robotic Pack Mule

This is another one I found at Boing Boing. A gasoline powered robotic mule.

Cory Doctorow makes a good point in this article

I would have prased it a bit more like... "a coffee shop with out coffee cups". If they want us to buy the WIFI, they had better let us get juice.
