I think this is interesting. The worl now has it's first vitual millionaire. Now watch the IRS try and tax it.
Although I agree it would be foollish to do so, society has reached an interesting point in it's history. Cyber space is psychological space... it is economic space. In the long run, it seems taxes on vitual property might be inevitable. The line between cyberreality and real-world reality is fuzzy at best.
