Lumpy's Corner

First of all, I am splitting things up into several sites again. I have not decided exactly how but I do know the following:

• This will still be the index. This blog will still be a compilation of all my blogs. It will be changed much:
  • It will not include everything I write. I am starting to write with and for others. I will add links to those sites but not redundantly post them here.
  • A lot of the buttons, banners and links will disappear. Although I like to promote good services and products, this experiment is too busy. I will be certain to find each of them a very appropriate home.
  • I am going to expand the blogroll. I know that some of you already feel that it is too long but I must differ. This is a blog. If you are here, it is likely you like reading blogs. Blogs are about sharing and in, an internet sense, social. It, therefore, is likely that you would want to discover other blogs.
  • I am interested in some type of "podroll", if you have suggestions please leave a comment or use the contact form on the site.
• Exios and I are going to start doing a podcast. We will write and cast this endeavor jointly. We have completed our first podcast.
• I get asked about bloggin', RSS and CMS so frequently that I am going to start a simple "Lumpy's Novice Guide to Bloggin'" as a separate, static page. It is pretty much a dummies guide written by a dummie. It is still very much under construction and is not meant to be a definitive guide. Over the next few weeks I will migrate all my relevant material to that site but keep copies here as well.
• TidBits, is now getting to be a pretty frequent posting. As of the last posting, I have posted 12 such issues. I am going to create a page for that as well. Since the material is often light and fun, I may change the slant of it so that is always so.
  
  I am also going to offer it as an e-zine in both HTML and text format. for those who still desire that over RSS.) If the e-zine aspect of it is not popular enough, I will drop it.
• Exios and I are rather frequent WiFi location visitors. We have used Google to try and find out where there are locations in the greater Cleveland area. We have discovered that much of the information is out of date, not completely accurate or totally wrong. We intend to create an accurate and up to date list. Unfortunately, the only way to assure accuracy is to actually visit each location. With over 60 locations that we know of, this is a work in progress. When complete, we will create a separate page for this.
