I have removed my FeedBurner link on this page. I have been listening to several news podcast, one of them being Geek News Central, and I believe they are currently doing some type of tracking. Although I cannot be certain that they are tracking, I wish to err on the side of caution. I do not agree with such practices and I have removed the link to them.
Ultimately, anyone who is wishing to use RSS should simply make sure their tags are right and allow anyone using any service or program to subscribe.
A quick note of interest and importance Amy Gahran has launched a new endeavor called I, Reporter.
As for me, I have been very busy writing, re-writing, and researching a rather long future post for this site. I have also been busy with RadioStatic. I will catch you all soon.

Hey there Lumpy. Come back! The only tracking we do is what you specifically enable for your feed. For example, if you turn on "clickthrough tracking", then FeedBurner will rewrite your links and tell you how many people click on your item links. If you upgrade to PRO stats, which is a paid service, then you can also include a "tracking" GIF that lets you know how your content is being moved around the Internet.
But all of these services are optional -- you have complete control over how your feed is optimized.
Please let me know if you have any questions ... we'd love to have you back.

I stand corrected.
I will put the link back up. I am pressed for time at the moment but it will show up in about 48 hours.
