Great day. Nami and I had a huge spat. Her and I have both been stressing out big time; my work schedule and her school schedule just make it so. I hate seeing her cry though and I will do whatever I can in the future to assure that never happens.
I did have a good day at work and finally got started on my Fraternities web site. At first, I though I was going to be a web janitor with it. After further inspections, I have concluded that a web trauma surgeon would be a better decryption.
Most of information is bad, the phpbb is obsolete and disabled due to security risks, the CSS and XHTML are not valid and I spent most of the night just making it look the way the president desired.
My shift at work went well and quick. Now came my "RTA adventure". I think I will simply say that I am always amazed at the people I meet on the public transit system.

A day off... A day to rest... NOT! A day to prepare for a hectic week
17JAN
Today is just going to be a long day. 12 hours at work shared between two departments, one of which has had no functioning equipment for a week. The thought recurring in my head all day is "X" more hours and I can sleep.

Today is a day to learn PHP. I have a site to finish by tomorrow. It ain't happening.... PHP is dorked, BB is dorked, file access is dorked.
Turns out the day at the job was not a bad day just a busy one. It went well enough; 7 hours seemed like 7 minutes.
Good old Pierce did give me a quick tutorial on the whole php thing but it is still going to have to wait until tomorrow. My sleep cycle is as dorked as the web site I am working on... I logged the chat session, took notes and prayed for some sleep and hoped for a better php day on tomorrow.

Work is a hot box tonight. Imagine that? Yesterday I complained about it being only 62 degrees F so today I wear thermal underwear and it is 80 in here. Is that a payback or what? Of course, I should not complain for the house I live in is frigid, the weather outside is mostly frigid and soon to be followed by a wave artic totally frozen and frigid.

Wow... I might actually get this php thing. I had a busy night at work again, mostly just making the ward look cleaner. However, I did get some work done on www.tke-csu.org. I think I am going to like this php thing and I feel I can make it work.
THANKS Pierce!!!!

The home stretch for me in the critical care ward... now all I have to do is endure three hours in the "cage cleaning" area. This is where we sanitize and sterilize all the animal cages. I did survive until noon but it was far from fun. The machines have been out of order for over a week. Some of the cages were dirty and sitting so long that they had a layer of mold growing over all of the bedding that lines the bottom

This is going to be a long shift. I have three animals and one is not doing well at all. When I finish here, I get to go over to cage wash.
I am still too busy with The TeKE Site. I spent an hour going through the spams. Seems like they date back to 2003 and there are 1600 of them. Can use say "ban list filtering"? I can boys and girls... hehe...

Long work night... Dog with IV line which liked to circle it's cage. This means that I am on the end of the leash
Got a continuance on the court issue.
Got somewhat further on the TKE site
22JAN
Ever have to feed a dog that doesn't want to eat? That is what my night was all about.
23JAN - Sunday
I did what I am supposed to do on Sundays. I went to church and rested.
I will work tonight and, likely, get a php driven site for TKE up and running. This is assuming the animals all so-operate.
Although I couldn't sleep at first, I finally dozed off. (Unaware of the HadesÂ’ inspired day to follow.
24-31JAN - The rest of the month
Let me just sum it up. Work is chaotic. I am busy with the web site and my "writting" has been an article I am going to post to my blog sometime soon.
I know, I know it does look like I have not been writing. That is not the case. I have been a very busy boy at work, writing php and I am working on an article.
